Turkish petrochemical producer Petkim has increased the list price for its polyvinyl chloride by $20/mt, a source at Petkim said Monday.

Other sources said the move came against the backdrop of a tight market. The increase took Petkim's K67-K68 PVC list price to $1,330/mt FCA Aliaga.

Petkim's PP, LDPE and HDPE list prices were unchanged, with PP raffia list at $1,615-$1,625/mt FCA Aliaga, the LDPE H2-8 grade list price flat at $1,650/mt FCA Aliaga and Petkim;s HDPE film list price flat at $1,450/mt FCA Aliaga.

Last Wednesday, S&P Global Platts assessed the CFR Turkey PVC price up $10/mt week on week to $955/mt as ongoing tightness in the market outweighed lackluster demand.
