Russian export duties on benzene, toluene and xylenes (BTX) are set to increase for a sixth consecutive month in February, according to information on the website of the Russian Ministry of Economy.
The duties will increase by 7.8% month on month and 34.3% year on year to $36/mt.
The duties will remain at 30% of the crude oil export duty, the same proportion as in 2017.
Export duties on crude oil are set to rise to $120.10/mt in February, following increase in the prices of crude oil.
Export duties for some sorts of crude oil (from Eastern Siberia and Caspian Sea fields) and certain refined products, such as ethane and butane, will remain at zero next month. These remained at the zero since January 2015.
Naphtha export duties will be set at $66/mt.
