Phillips 66 plans to carry out a 60- to 90-day maintenance outage in February on its 351,534 mt/year polypropylene plant in Linden, New Jersey, sources said Thursday.

The polypropylene plant is part of the company's 238,000 b/d Bayway refinery complex, which is also set to undergo a turnaround in February.

Phillips 66 plans to carry out maintenance on a crude distillation tower, a reformer and a vacuum tower at the refinery, the sources said.

The planned maintenance is scheduled to start around February 10 and to last about a month, one said.

Work on the gasoline-making fluid catalytic cracking unit is not part of the planned maintenance, but the 145,000 b/d unit is in the process of being modernized.

Phillips 66 CEO Greg Garland said in the company's fourth quarter of 2016 earnings call that the FCC project would be completed in the first half of 2018.

Phillips 66 spokesman Dennis Nuss declined to comment, citing company policy.
