Enterprise Products Partners plans to begin maintenance Monday on the Splitter I propylene unit at its Mont Belvieu, Texas, natural gas liquids complex, the company said in a filing.
The maintenance is expected to involve the flaring of 7,000 lb of propylene and 7,000 lb of propane, with the flaring scheduled to run through December 18, a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality showed.
Enterprise can produce 95,000 b/d of propylene from its Mont Belvieu splitter assets, which purify refinery-grade propylene into either polymer-grade or chemical-grade propylene.
The company also has six fractionators operating at its Mont Belvieu NGL complex.
