Brazilian exports of semi-finished steel in November rose 3.1% year on year to 760,700 mt, Ministry of Development and Trade data showed Tuesday.
Revenue from these goods jumped 44% to $362.5 million FOB. In November 2016, exports totaled 737,700 mt and revenue was $251.7 million FOB.
The average price of Brazil's semis exports in November spiked 39.6% year on year to $476.5/mt FOB. In the year-ago month, it was $341.2/mt.
Brazil's exports of flat-rolled steel in November grew 33.3% year on year to 320,600 mt. Revenue grew 66.3% from a year ago to $215.6 million on an FOB basis.
November 2016 exports totaled 240,500 mt and revenue was $129.6 million FOB.
