Seasonal NOx prices dipped slightly this week in the US Cross-State Air Pollution Rule market thanks to wide bids and offers and scant trading activity.
Sources heard a few trades this week at small volumes of 50 st, 13 st and 4 st with prices hovering near $180/st.
Brokers on Thursday reported bid-offer ranges as tight at $160/st at $190/st and as wide as $140/st at $225/st.
"There's just nothing really going on that's moving prices too much," one market player noted.
S&P Global Platts on Thursday assessed Seasonal NOx allowances at $180/st, down $10/st from last week, based on broker marks.
No other interest was heard for other CSAPR allowances Thursday, keeping prices unchanged.
Platts assessed Annual NOx allowances at $2.75/st, Group 1 SO2 allowances at $2.50/st and Group 2 SO2 allowances at $3.25/st, all unchanged, based on broker marks.
