Distillates flows fixed to Northwest Europe and the Mediterranean from the US Gulf Coast for December are currently around 280,000 mt, according to data from cFlow, S&P Global Platts' trade flow software.
November landed volume is in the region of 1.3 million mt, according to cFlow.
Only three vessels carrying distillates left the US Gulf Coast over the past seven days to head to Europe, one medium range tanker carrying roughly 40,000 mt and two long range tankers carrying around 60,000 mt each.
The overwhelming majority of the volume will be 10 ppm diesel, with jet fuel and gasoil making up the remainder.
With the Mediterranean diesel market pricing relatively strongly a trend of diverting to that market has continued, with the Seasalvia changing its destination from Le Havre to Barcelona.
USGC flows to Europe have been relatively of late with Latin America continuing to attract volume, something which is supporting 10 ppm diesel differentials in the Mediterranean and Northwest Europe.
