Seasonal NOx prices have barely budged since the start of November with sporadic trading activity keeping values unmoved in the US Cross-State Air Pollution Rule market.
A source heard of deals for 500 st and 198 st at the start of week but was unable to confirm prices. Brokers on Thursday reported bids at $175/st and offers at $210/st following deals at $200/st last week.
"The market seems to be stuck there," one broker said, while another player noted allowances were "bouncing around" $200/st and $210/st but trading little.
S&P Global Platts on Thursday assessed Seasonal NOx allowances at $200/st, unchanged from last week, based on broker marks.
Seasonal NOx prices have not changed in three weeks.
No other interest was heard for other CSAPR allowances Thursday, keeping prices unchanged.
Platts assessed Vintage 2017 annual NOx allowances at $2.75/st, Group 1 SO2 allowances at $2.50/st and Group 2 SO2 allowances at $3.25/st, all unchanged, based on broker marks.
