Enterprise Products Partners' 750,000 mt/year propane dehydrogenation plant at Mont Belvieu, Texas, is in start-up mode and is expected to reach full-rate production by the end of November, the company said Thursday.
The PDH unit -- which has seen many delays -- was most recently expected to come online in October, but was delayed due to Hurricane Harvey, the company said in its earnings call.
Enterprise had slowed commissioning on the new plant and briefly shut some other Mont Belvieu operations as Harvey pounded the Houston area for three days in late August, causing widespread flooding and unprecedented rainfall in some areas, spokesman Rick Rainey had said.
