Brazilian integrated steelmaker Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN) reported a fall in its iron ore exports to 6.6 million mt in the third quarter of the year, 27% below the year ago quarter, company data showed Monday.
However, CSN's realized prices increased to $55.70/wmt, compared with $47.3/wmt in the year-ago quarter. Company reported its export prices in a CFR+FOB basis.
CSN presented Monday its 2016 and 2017 Q1-Q3 consolidated results.
"As the conclusion of [the 2016 results] impacted the opening balance of 2017 financial [results], it has not released its 2017 quarterly information within regulatory deadlines," the company said in a filling with the Brazilian securities commission.
According to the company, the mining arm's Q3 net revenue reached Real 1.2 billion ($367 million).
