BP will raise its acetic acid off-list prices in the Americas, including Mexico and South America, the company said in a letter seen by S&P Global Platts on Friday.
The company's AA prices will increase by 4 cents/lb in the US and Canada, and by $88/mt in Mexico and South America, BP said in its letter to customers.
The changes will be effective November 1, the company said. BP did not cite a specific reason for the increases.
Platts last assessed US AA on Thursday at $851-861/mt FOB USG, and at 28-29 cents/lb delivered.
