Turkey's Petkim has increased its polypropylene, low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride prices following the seasonal pick-up in demand after the holiday, according to market sources.
PP raffia, fiber, and injection was listed at $1,540-$1,600/mt FCA Aliaga, up $20.
LDPE was listed at $1,605-$1,625/mt, up $20.
HDPE injection and blowmolding prices were listed at $1,505/mt, and $1,500/mt respectively, both up $20.
PVC K67 prices were listed at $1,260/mt, up $25.
For PP, the market consensus was in an upward trend in the light of stronger European and Asian markets for olefins and polymers, the US storm effect, and resulting reduced quota to Turkey from Middle Eastern sellers who prefer better netbacks in China, a market source said last week.
