The Northwest European butadiene contract price for August has been settled at Eur750/mt ($873/mt), a fall of Eur75/mt, industry sources said Wednesday.
The settlement was confirmed by a consumer and two producer parties.
European butadiene spot prices were flat this week ahead of the approaching holiday season, with a number of market participants already away, sources said this week.
FD NWE was assessed at Eur800/mt.
