US olefins producer Dow Chemical started maintenance Monday on a pipeline at its site in Freeport, Texas, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The propylene pipeline, located at the Freeport terminal and marine operations site, is being cleared for maintenance, which is scheduled to run through July 20, according to the filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
The company did not immediately return a request for further comment.
In markets, S&P Global Platts assessed spot propylene Monday at 36.75-37.25 cents/lb FD USG for July deliveries and 36.5-37 cents/lb FD USG for August deliveries.
