Pemex's benzene production totaled 3,951 mt last month, an increase of just 1 mt from April but 3,246 mt higher than May 2016.
The company's toluene output totaled 10,157 mt last month, down 757 mt, or 6.9%, from April, but still 8,086 mt higher than its May 2016 production.
Pemex's mixed xylene production, however, was more in line with recent totals. The company produced 8,622 mt of MX last month, up 218 mt, or 2.6%, from April and down 488 mt, or 5.4%, from May 2016.
