State-owned China Petroleum and Chemical Corp, or Sinopec, has settled its May paraxylene contract price at Yuan 6,840/mt, down Yuan 90/mt from the April settlement, market sources said Tuesday.
The price is equivalent to about $834.60/mt on an import parity basis, based on an exchange rate of 6.8673.
May was initially nominated at Yuan 6,900/mt.
