Brokers noted a more active US Cross-State Air Pollution Rule market this week, with an increase bids and offers but no trades. A source said there has been a lot of "posturing" ahead of the summer but little desire to execute deals.

Sides are nearing trades for Seasonal NOx allowances, as a broker reported a $530/st bid and $590/st offer Thursday. S&P Global Platts on Thursday assessed Seasonal NOx allowances at $550/st, unchanged from last week, based on broker marks.

Chatter for Annual NOx deals have led to a fluctuation of bids and offers during the week. A source said the range has tightened some days to $3.75/st at $4/st, but other days offers at $3.50/st draw no bid. Platts assessed Annual NOx allowances at $3.85/st, down 15 cents, based on broker marks.

Little activity was heard for Group 1 SO2 and Group 2 SO2 allowances this week. Platts assessed Group 1 SO2 allowances at $2.50/st and Group 2 SO2 allowances at $3.25/st, both unchanged, based on broker marks.
