China's gasoil apparent consumption in the first seven months of 2011 reached 97.04-mil mt, up by 10.9% from the same period in 2010, showed the data from the National Bureau of Statistics.

Healthy economy growth in the seven months propped up domestic gasoil consumption, C1 found.

The country raised gasoil output and imports notably in the period, but it slashed exports in a bid to prevent possible supply shortage in the domestic market.
