Dalian Customs exported 221,676mt of gasoline in July, still higher than the other exporters, according to data released by the General Administration of Customs.
The volume rose by 57.61% from June and surged by 231.84% from the corresponding period last year, the data also showed.
Major refineries in Northeast China increased gasoline exports in July because of ample supply in the domestic market and rising export margins, market sources said.
The margin for exporting gasoline from to Singapore was as high as Yuan 532/mt on Jul 21, according to C1 data.
Many refineries exporting gasoline are located in Northeast China, of which Sino-foreign joint-venture Dalian Wepec is a major one.
East China’s Nanjing and Shanghai customs recorded no gasoline exports in July, because Sinopec held low stocks there after suspending outsourcing.
