Styrenics major Ineos Styrolution has announced an increase of Eur100/mt ($106/mt) in its European standard acrylonitrile butadiene styrene prices for January, according to a statement on its website.
The gross level for January Terluran ABS (standard-grade) was nominated Eur100/mt higher compared to December.
The company did not state the outright price level.
Last week, the company announced a Eur170/mt ($180/mt) increase in specialty grade ABS for Q1 from Q4.
The rises in January prices follow increases in feedstock prices. The January butadiene contract price was fully settled at Eur940/mt, up Eur140/mt on the month. The styrene monomer contract price was fully settled at Eur1,300/mt, up Eur105/mt.
