Pembina has completely shut-in its 50,000 b/d Western Pipeline in British Colombia as a precautionary measure after erosion exposed a portion of the light crude line, the company said Thursday.
Spokesman Jason Fydirchuk said the entirety of the line, which stretches from Fort St. John to Kamloops, was closed following high water runoff.
Fydirchuk said workers were inspecting the line and as yet there is no firm timeline for a restart.
