It is dry extract made of dry sporocarp of Coriolus uersicolor (L.ex Fr.) Quel.
It is funghi medicine (also known as Polyporus versicolor and Trametes versicolor ) .
The sporocarp is small, with no stem. The surface is scrolled back, fanshaped or conchoids.
They are connected and imbricate. The cap is 1-8cm wide and 0.1-0.3cm thick. There are
narrow concentric rings composed of long and thin multi-color tomentum on the surface of keratin.
The tomentum is shiny like silk and wavy with thin edge. The bacterial context is white. The pore
is white or light yellow. There are 3-5 pores per millimeter. It is one kind of traditional Chinese
medicine with immune adjustment functions though scientific research. Coriolus is famous for its
nutrition and medical value. The extract of coriolus can activate different immune cells and inhibit
cancer cell growth. It is mainly used as immunomodulator and is used to cure chronic hepatitis and active hepatitis.
